My Wendy's trip

Last week I didn't feel like cooking so I was going to take the kids for fast food. The boys got called to a bday party and were going to eat there so I took my daughter to Wendy's. We went thru the drive thru and bought two burger meals. I got as far as the parking lot across the street and noticed that the burgers didn't have bacon as we ordered so I turned around and took them back. They apologized and gave us 2 new burgers. Before leaving the window I checked the first burger and it was good so we went home. I get home and give my daughter her burger. I then open my burger to find that there was NO BURGER! It has lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, bacon and even cheese! No Burger! Now how the hell do you make a burger and forget the burger???? So now I'm pissed. Back to the car and back to Wendy's. This time my fat butt is going in the store to bitch. I walk in and slam my bag on the counter and tell them this is the 3rd time I'm coming to get the food I ordered. The manager must have seen me from the door and ran over to take care of my complaint. He apologized profusely and ordered me to more burgers. This time he stood there and watched the person make my burgers and asked me if I had fries with my order. I told him that they were at home so he gave me two orders of fresh fries. I get home and my daughter says "Mom, the fries don't have salt, how did they forget the salt?" I turned to her and said "Salt????How the hell do they forget the burger on my burger!!!!!" I think salt was the least of the problem! I swear this stupid crap only happens to me. I can however laugh at myself and I still wonder if that is healthy or not LOL

Drive-thrus are certainly getting more annoying around here too. English is a lot of people's second language. I like McDonald's raspberry iced tea. If I just order 'iced tea', I use get home and it's Hi-C-the orange drink. I have to say the raspberry part to get the correct drink. And they mess up 'cheese' with 'chicken'. I ordered a 'cheeseburger' and when I got home I had a little box of 'chicken nuggets'.

What I usually do in cases like that is call the place and promptly ask for the manager. Then complain. They usually take my name and the next meal I get is free. It's not worth it to me to go back a 2nd and 3rd time. LOL, of course if I didn't get a burger on my BURGER I just might!

That story is so funny! I probably have to take part of the blame for confusing the fast food workers, especially at McDonald's, as I always have to order my nephew a double cheeseburger & tell them to hold the cheese LOL How confusing that has to be for them.

So after our phone conversation, we'be come to the conclusion that fast food workers have to fail a basic test. I always have trouble at our Taco Bell. This could be a book, as I have my own failure stories from this store here, but the funniest story I've heard come from this Taco Bell is these friends of ours with 5 kids. They ordered tons of tacos and burritos and whatever else. They asked for hot sauce. They get all this crap home and dig for the hot sauce. In the bottom is one packet. Norm, the dad, says, "I get to use it first!" ROFLMAO!!!
